Watchmen, Ozark y The Mandalorian encabezan las nominaciones al EMMY 2020

Este martes, Leslie Jones, famosa por ser una actriz recurrente en Saturday Night Live reveló la lista de nominaciones al Emmy de la Academia de Televisión 2020 durante una ceremonia virtual. Se le unieron los presentadores Laverne Cox, Josh Gad y Tatiana Maslany para la ocasión, que aunque emocionante, se encontró con algunos problemas técnicos durante la transmisión.

Liderando las nominaciones de este año está WATCHMEN de HBO con un total de 26 nominaciones, mientras que THE MARVELOUS MS. MAISEL lideró el circuito de comedia con un sobresaliente total de 20 nominaciones. Cuando se trata de drama, OZARK y SUCCESSION obtuvieron la mayor cantidad de nominaciones con 18 premios cada uno, mientras que THE MANDALORIAN y SCHITT’S CREEK de Jon Favreau recibieron un total de 15 nominaciones cada uno.

Los Premios Emmy tendrán lugar el 20 de septiembre a las 8 p.m. ET en ABC, y serán presentados por Jimmy Kimmel.
